EXPERIENCE

KLM was founded in 2010 by an industry leading union mechanic with over 35 years of experience in the field. Supported by two mechanics with nearly decade in the industry each, KLM sought to create a new niche in a changing market. As energy codes requirements increased and new products were brought to the industry, KLM grew in staff. Each employee joining our family was set a on year long apprenticeship program with the founder and his supporting staff. Training each mechanic across the industries requirements was essential in our development and growth. This cornerstone built KLM to relationships with over forty different customers and over one thousand completed projects.

KLM Insulation, Inc. is one of the few AFL-CIO union insulation contractors that offers an Insulation Energy Appraisal (IEA). An IEA is a detailed analysis on the quality of insulation on an existing mechanical system, allowing you to make informative decisions on insulation investments. The appraisal will provide you with an estimate explaining the breakdown of your return on investment (ROI). Often the break-even point (BEP) with an insulation investment is only a few months to a couple years, with profits extending for many years afterward.

KLM Insulation, Inc is a NYC Small Business Services WBE Certified mechanical insulation company, delivering expert, energy-efficient insulation solutions. Our certification highlights our commitment to diversity, quality workmanship, and compliance with city procurement standards
